Try to imagine nature’s response as a tornado(or a hurricane) lifts the oil into the air and the entire mess is then ignited by a lightning strike. The sky above becomes a swirling monster of flaming petroleum pellets which then rain down upon a parched landscape with incendiary madness. Entire landscapes are set afire. the magnitude and scope of it causes a molecular-sized chain reaction which sets fire to the air we breathe, kind of like a slash burn.
All of the creatures living above groung are turned to dust and viable sea life is reduced to micro-organisms that have the ability to thrive whilst consuming old carcases and plastic shopping bags.
