Twenty-six street bands from the U.S. and Canada are in Seattle April 9-11 at a variety of places, including Art Attack on April 10. (The Art Attack link is a month out of date. Nobody’s perfect. Locations and participants are still good. )

Hungry March Band will also be performing at Bikes Are Beautiful! party which coincides with Ballard’s 2nd Saturday Artwalk on April 10. Too bad there is always a conflict with Georgetown’s but then again the night is long… Kudos to Hungry March Band from NYC who will be performing three times in one night.

If any of your readers are thinking about attending the festivities at Georgetown’s Art Attack they’d be well advised to stop in at the converted cold storage building and pay a visit to the very entertaining and welcoming painter Mary Tudor. She makes good art and she’s always got a few lively stories to tell. She’s worth a visit.

As the official mascot and bass drummer for the Bolting Brassicas Marching Band, I wish to thank Seattle for the wonderful time we had there! Our hosts were amazing and the Honk Fest organizers were fantastic and top-notch! We were well fed and taken care of and shown a great time! Thank you Seattle! I was also given a special supplement of a dozen bananas a day which really helps my coat stay shiny and full of body.
