Wonderful photo. The art world is not only fickle, but …(fill in a word:old boy network, …). Artists have been the “Medici” of our own careers going back into the last century, at least. Recognition is “lagniappe” (that’s one for NOLA); we do art because we have to, art is an itch that must be scratched.
