The galleries at the Museum of Glass look like waiting rooms at an airport, but its hot shop delivers on the romance of the process.
MOG bought a truck to take a portable version of its selling point on the road. It debuts in front of the museum May 15, 6-8 p.m. and remains in the tow-away zone on Saturday. After that, it goes where it’s wanted.

Hm…is this what they did with the money they used to invest in their own community via Arts Connect, the outreach program for juvenile offenders they pulled the plug on for lack of funding earlier this year?
I understand that a museum is a business and money has to come from somewhere, but it would be nice to be reassured that this grand scheme for solvency didn’t come at the price of kids right there in Tacoma whose entire outlook on life could and has been be greatly improved by one simple, relatively inexpensive gesture.

or rather, “could (and has been) greatly improved…” Please imagine away the stray “be.” =)
