My last post was about classical music publicists, and how they mostly don’t write press releases that can make us interested in what their clients are doing. A San Francisco Symphony season announcement was one of my examples. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Frankly, I don’t know how this information could be rendered in a more interesting manner. I will tell you what does bother me even more than dull notices like these. It is the total lack of any musicians of color in the programming. Not the topic in question, but quite glaring just the same.
