TAKE ME TO THE COUNTRY
I had read about this record, but I didn’t really expect it to be this good: James Talley’s 1975 debut Got No Bread, No Milk, No Money, but We Sure Got a Lot of Love (reissued by Cimarron). It’s kind of heartbreaking to think how much talent slips through the system like this. He could be Merle Haggard’s cousin.
