All joking aside, it’s a huge coup to have a serious classical musician on The Late Show with David Letterman. Major props to her PR folks. Ms. Mutter will be joined by Samuel L. Jackson, who is currently starring in The Mountaintop on Broad-way, so it’s a high-brow/brilliant night of late night TV all around (New York Magazine, take note). I will be doing Quite The Opposite and going to see the Black Eyed Peas in Central Park, but promise to watch her performance on the interwebz as soon as I get home. The Late Show with David Letterman is on at 11:35 pm on CBS.
