If you read anything other than ArtsJournal, you’ve probably heard about what’s going down in Wisconsin.
And what better way to damn the man than with a little musical theater?
Although as one commenter points out, “This is great and all, but doesn’t anyone else find it weird that they’re using a protest song from a show where the revolution fails and everyone dies?”
And then there’s this, which is actually kind of elegantly done?
In other important world news, it seems the original Eponine (at minute :39) has STILL GOT IT. “It” being the most affected and nasaly voice on the entire planet. I believe I can do a Perfect Impression of her, so ask me about that the next time you see me.
I’m sad they didn’t get the original cast Enjorlas back for this, since Amanda In Her Youth remembers him being smokin’ hot. Not that this 25th anniversary dude is so hard on my now aged eyes. Of course it wouldn’t matter, since the camera veers off to *~*~*~N i c k J o n a s~*~*~* during that part, anyway.
PBS is broadcasting the 25th anniversary concert this Sunday, March 6 at 7pm ET. Sit down, tune in, and order a pizza for yourself and the protesters in Wisconsin.

Lea Salonga- hands down the best Eponine.
I still remember seeing the 10th anniversary Les Mis concert. Best production ever *goosebumps*.
