Position Title:
Public Relations Associate, Kirshbaum Demler & Associates, Inc.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate publicity efforts and media pitches, including web based media outlets.
Preparation of pitch letters, biographical materials and press releases. Working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Photoshop and E-news – or similar such experience required.
Coordinate preparation of pertinent materials for digital media kits. Distribute and compile press activity.
Coordinate electronic distribution of press releases and photo mailings.
Performance press duty (press ticket distribution, escorting photographers).
Requirements:
College degree and previous office experience (preferably in public relations) and computer proficiency. Knowledge of classical music preferred.
