At last a first-class appreciation of the recently published ULTRAZONE, which had me doing cartwheels when I first read the novel in proof copy. Naturally, I wondered how it would be received elsewhere. Now I know. Alan Moore’s review catches the book in his strike zone. Both informed and informative, it makes a witty match for a remarkable tale of Tangier ghosts. The review appears in the most recent issue of the British literary journal Beat Scene. Here tiz:
Richard says
It is great fun and maybe even significant. I laid it down about 60 pages in prior to recent move and have yet to unpack, seemed to catch the spirit of the displaced in that space.
Jan Herman says
ah Richard, always on target. enjoy the rest of it when you finish unpacking. I too have boxes to unpack, which I’ll probably never get around to unless somebody gooses me to do it.
Richard says
Yeah, I had planned on being all unpacked by now but so many distractions and other avenues of endeavor … looks like next year now for the hundreds of boxes that wait for disgorgrment.
