That’s right, New York City’s LaGuardia High School of Music and Arts and Performing Arts (that’s a mouthful) has cancelled its spring musical due to budget cuts.

Whoa. That just, seems very very wrong. A cut does not solve a problem. It just delays the problem.
Is it really cancelled? The NYT link says the school “postponed its annual musical this fall and is now *considering* canceling it.” A difficult situation no matter which is the case.
