The National Endowment for the Arts hosted its second webcast event this week (today, 11:00 – 2:00 pm Eastern, find it here), this time focusing on the findings of the 2008 Study of Public Participation in the Arts. The first, on Cultural Workforce, drew only a few Twitter commentary. This one kicked up a lot more.
The resulting live video and live commentary makes for a particularly useful and interesting combination. And I’m eager for all of us in the arts to find thoughtful, intentional, and increasingly permeable ways of talking and learning by similar means.
If you’re reading this before 2:00 pm Eastern today, be sure to join the stream!
NOTE: The image is a snapshot of how I’m watching both the video and Twitter stream, with TweetDeck overlaid on the web browser window. Wondering if others have a better way of combining the two.
