Glenn Weiss is a public art consultant serving communities through public and private clients. Between 2008-2011, he founded and directed the public art program for Times Square, producing more than 30 installations and performances on the new plazas and videos on the giant LED screens. He has written several public art master plans in south Florida including Miami Beach, Coral Springs and Delray Beach and managed major public art programs for Broward County (Fort Lauderdale) and King County (Seattle). As a city planner, he focused on downtown development in late 20th century suburbs and taught at Florida Atlantic University. As a curator, he produced exhibitions for PS1, Storefront for Art and Architecture, and 911 Media Arts Center. In addition to ArtsJournal.com, he wrote criticism for Seattle Magazine and Arcade.
