A couple of weeks ago I spent an hour talking about Pops: A Life of Louis Armstrong with Brian Lamb of C-SPAN at the network’s studios in Washington, D.C. It was, I said at the time, the best interview I’ve ever done with anyone on any subject–thorough, challenging, well-informed, impeccably fair. Now you can see for yourself.
